Croatia
Croatia for ten days in September and October: a genuine holiday, with nothing to write about, no hotels to visit, no museums to research. Although of course I still took lots of photos. We flew to Zadar and spent a couple of nights there before heading out to Dugi Otok.
We intended to island-hop, but in the end island-stopped instead: half in Sali, half in Božava. Lots of long walks along overgrown stony paths through semi-abandoned olive groves to rocky beaches with great swimming in the warm late summer sea.
As well as the photos below there’s a web album.
